About ON-TRACK

Building Capacity for HIV and STBBI Clinical Trials

ON-TRACK is a capacity-building initiative focused on training the next generation of HIV clinical trial investigators, community partners, and research leaders in Canada.

Clinical trials are essential for advancing HIV prevention, treatment, and care. However, many communities most affected by HIV including Black communities, Indigenous peoples, women, newcomers, and gender-diverse individuals have historically been underrepresented in research.

ON-TRACK addresses these gaps by promoting inclusive clinical trials training, community leadership in research, and equity-focused methodologies.

By integrating training across academic and community settings, ON-TRACK supports the development of scientifically rigorous and socially responsive HIV research programs.

ON-TRACK is funded by the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR).
